Yes it’s been a long time since I blogged and I can’t be bothered coming up with a plausible sounding excuse, so let’s just say I didn’t blog.

Bullet points are quicker, so here goes:

  • Every single episode of Southpark is now available online at the official wesbite, Southpark Studios, and even better news is that it’s the first of its kind (that I know of) that doesn’t restrict your ability to view episodes based upon your ip/where you are in the world. Thank you!
  • The 2.4 patch for WoW is out and really highlights how bloody dull the 2.3 patch was.
  • Lost is, I must confess, entertaining again, despite the fact that they’ve put pretty much everything that has occured up to this point onto the backburner. Unfortunately the show is now on a 5 week hiatus.
  • The season finale of Stargate: Atlantis was crap and reminded me of the crap that was the previous seasons finale, except this time around it was worse.
  • Battlestar Galactica is due back very, very soon and I can’t wait!

And now the stuff some find boring, but I love:

  • House Speaker Surapong’s fraud charges have landed the PPP party in hot water and they are facing dissolution. This is all possible thanks to the 2007 constitution which has now come under fire from non other than the PPP who cry foul that the constitution is not good for them.
  • At first they talked about revising the article of the contitution dealing with party dissolution, claiming that doing so will increase investor confidence, but it was too plain to see that the changes were for the PPP alone and not in the public interest.
  • With that idea shot down a PPP rep suggested they should just dissolve parliament. That idea didn’t last too long.
  • Now a bright spark has decided that the only way they’ll ever be able to get the changes that will save the PPP is to amend the whole constitution.
  • They are doing a lot of PR to convince the public that this is a very important issue that requires urgent action.

If all of the above sounds like the PPP is a bit desperate, it’s only because they are.

2.4 is, indeed, one of the best patches in a long, long time. Did my fishing daily, all the new faction dailies, did my Shatari Skyguard dailies (easy now everyone is in the new zone!) and then blasted through Magisters’ Terrace in one go with a group - fun instance, if a little easier than expected. Kael encounter is good, took us a few attempts to down him though.

I’m going to watch every south park episode!

I’m yet to manage to get a look in Magisters’ Terrace but I really like the whole new zone. I also like that they’ve improved some other areas I thought were dull or devoid of anything, and I like that they’re pushing players to places they stopped going ages ago. Now if only they’d force people to go back to Azeroth for something other than the AH.

I haven’t had a look at any of the new content either, since we Raided SSC on Wed. and then did our all-druid Kara run last night. Maybe this weekend we can noob it up over there Ben? Pick a time!
